FriendsWithYou – a collective of Los Angeles-based artists Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III, has come up with an art installation of inflatable floating clouds to spread happiness among people in the central Covent Garden Market Building – a historic landmark. Giant cloud sculptures are putting smiles on people’s faces and spreading cheer.
Michelle McGrath, Executive Director, Shaftesbury Capital, says they are proud of their cultural heritage at Covent Garden. “With ‘Little Cloud World’, our aim is to put a smile on the faces of those who visit and enhance their experience of the neighborhood.”
It should be noted that Little Cloud World has been launched with UK charity CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably), to combat the rising rate of suicides in the United Kingdom by bringing people together to find the joy in life, and a way forward for everyone.
