Samsung Stops Traffic With Full Size, Folded London Bus to Celebrate Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6

Samsung stopped commuters in their tracks in East London with a full-size iconic single-decker London bus that has been folded upwards at a 90-degree angle. The bus was part of Samsung’s public art project to celebrate the release of the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 which now come with Galaxy AI.

The bus art project, works of Caspar Philips, was made up of recycled materials from real London buses. It was constructed to the accurate scale of a real single-decker bus. This iconic art piece took two months to design and build.

To complement the foldable London bus, Philips installed a folded bench, lamppost, and telephone box created by designer Jem Hughes. The telephone box was complete with a payphone and phone book, with the lamppost folding at nearly three meters tall.

Samsung also had the Old Street aptly renamed to Fold Street temporarily and signs at the Tube station changed to say Fold Street as part of the campaign for the new foldable range.
