Heinemann Duty-Free Malaysia has launched its redeveloped stores at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 2. Travelers can take advantage of tour and interactive presentations, and firsthand experience of the assortment of fragrances, skincare, makeup, watches, and jewelry, as well as confectionery.
Heinemann has enhanced the overall airport experience. It says the new store design has been guided by its vision of Malaysia as a proud, dynamic, and innovative nation, with an overall material palette made up of natural beige stone and complemented by softer textures. The new store design boasts traditional batik prints, giving a local sense of place.
Johannes Samman, Chief Operating Officer of Heinemann, Asia Pacific, said they are extremely proud to finally bring the Heinemann retail brand to one of their key regional markets. “With the influx of people traveling now, we are confident that we are well positioned to welcome back shoppers to our brand new stores.”
Moreover, Heinemann has created a new shop concept by opening up the floor plan for improved visibility across the store. It includes brands like Kerastase, Vichy, La Roche Posay, Helena Rubinstein, Maison Margiela and La Prairie among others. Heinemann has also launched its web shop and click-and-collect service for KLIA Terminal 2 passengers, providing a more convenient way to shop as part of its ambition to turn travel time into valuable time.
Heinemann has taken over gate retail space, as part of its contract renewal and store redevelopment, to provide a more convenient shopping experience for passengers.
