Saudi Arabia to Launch Hajj Expo 2023 in January

The conference and expo for Hajj and Umrah services, dubbed ‘Hajj Expo’, is scheduled to take place in Jeddah from 9 to 12 January 2023.

Under the sponsorship of Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and governor of the Makkah province, the annual event will be organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah.

The ‘Hajj Expo’ is a component of the Ministry’s ongoing initiatives to create cutting-edge offerings and services to better assist pilgrims. In order to achieve the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030, the Ministry works to enhance their visits to the Two Holy Mosques and to deepen their religious and cultural experiences.

In the participation of 57 international delegations, ‘Hajj Expo’ is anticipated to host 400 partnerships and agreements. Along with numerous other events and activities aimed at encouraging a culture of quality in the provision of Hajj and Umrah services, such as the Islamic Exhibition, the Hajj Hackathon, and the startup’s area, there will also be 10 keynote sessions, 13 panels and Hajj Talks, and 36 workshops.

Logistics, transportation, crowd control operations, housing, and hospitality services, culinary services, facility and service management, safety and health care, and enhancing pilgrims’ experiences are just a few of the topics that will be covered at the conference.

Over 45,000 people attended the conference’s inaugural edition in 2021, and 115 commercial agreements with exhibitors were made. The conference included a variety of scientific sessions, workshops, and training activities in its second edition in 2022. The event was attended by numerous Hajj and Umrah operators from the public and private sectors as well as a number of international ministers of Islamic affairs, endowments, and Hajj. The Conference and Exhibition for Hajj and Umrah Services have received support from a variety of corporations and organizations as well.
