Toyota Honors Emirati Women With ‘Journey into Herstory’

Al-Futtaim Toyota, in partnership with the Roads and Transportation Authority (RTA) and Memac Ogilvy, celebrates Emirati women through its latest campaign ‘Journey into Herstory’. It uses geo-targeting through Yango Maps and goes beyond iconic streets like Hessa Street and Latifa Bint Hamdan Street.

Saad Abdullah, General Manager of Marketing and Communications for Al-Futtaim Toyota, said their legacy in the UAE is deep-rooted. “For Emirati Women’s Day, we wanted to highlight and bring to life the stories of the iconic individuals who paved the way for all women in the UAE today,” he said. “They helped shape the nation and empowered others, and we felt the best way to celebrate these woman was by bringing public awareness to their lives and achievements.”

The campaign also blends modern technology with the rich histories of the UAE’s most influential women. The stories provide a narrative about the woman behind it, her life and achievements, and her enduring impact on society.

This campaign is backed by OOH advertisements in busy areas across the UAE, raising awareness and sparking conversations about women’s significant roles in the country’s development.
