Inspired by Arabian culture, French perfumier Diptyque has launched Eau de Nabati Eau de Parfum and Eau Rihla Eau de Parfum – a two-part Middle East fragrance collection. The brand has drawn its latest perfume from the region’s traditional odours, lush waters, petitgrain, amber, and lively vegetation.
The “Eau de Nabati Eau de Parfum”, with fresh bergamot, petitgrain, amber, and flowers, is a delicate and sweet scent perfect for date night, while the “Eau Rihla Eau de Parfum” fragrance is unique. It whirls you away on an enchanting journey through an Arabian market, where the air is filled with a tapestry of scents and spices. This scent is rich with notes of pink peppercorn, atlas cedar, iris, vanilla, and saffron.
Diptyque describes Eau Nabati Eau de Parfum as a deep, powerful fragrance that captures the nuances of a paradise garden and is inspired by the harmony of opposites between the hot sand of the desert and the freshness of an oasis. Eau Rihla Eau de Parfum is inspired by journeys along the routes of the Middle East, which have nourished Diptyque’s imagination since the origins of the Maison. Conceived as the chronicle of a long journey, the perfume features leather that changes throughout its composition.
The bottle’s artwork is Middle Eastern, an etched illustration by Safia Ouares. It features an iconic Bedouin landscape of desert dunes, date palms, a falcon, and camels.
