Two iconic global brands Lee and Dragon Ball Z are celebrating their first-ever collaboration with a curated capsule of tops and shorts. It takes a fun approach to blend authentic nostalgia with trends.
The collection, which is available in the U.S. and Europe, focuses on tops and tees with select shorts and a knit dress for women, styles are in men’s, women’s, and unisex sizes. And each piece features bright colors and Dragon Ball Z characters and logos. Prices range from £40 for t-shirts to £75 for dresses.
Joe Broyles, global vice president of collaboration at Lee, said a generation of fans was introduced to anime through Dragon Ball Z in the 90s, and the same generation grew up wearing Lee. He explained the capsule takes a fun approach to blend authentic nostalgia with trends. “We’re excited to introduce it to fans of yesterday and today.”
The partnership between Lee and Dragon Ball Z is an ode to the late 90s when both brands were defining a generation. This franchise, for 30 years, has become a cultural phenomenon, making an impact across fashion, music, and culture.
