Etihad Airways Joins Girona FC in 3-Year Strategic Alliance to Enhance Connectivity

Etihad Airways has emerged as the main sponsor of Girona FC in a three-year strategic alliance to highlight the airlines’ deep commitment to the Spanish market, enhancing connectivity and cultural exchange. Having grown its Spanish operations by nearly 50% since last summer, Etihad now operates 10 weekly flights to Madrid and Barcelona.

The UAE flag carrier introduced seasonal flights operating three times a week to Malaga, which starts on June 2. This will further enhance travel and tourism between the regions.
