Italian luxury fashion house Gucci has announced K-pop boy band BTS’ Kim Seok-jin as its global brand ambassador. The Korean pop sensation is basking in the spotlight after recently being discharged from the military. Seok-jin was also an Olympic torchbearer for team South Korea at the Paris Olympic Games opening ceremony.
Sabato De Sarno, Gucci’s creative director, said the brand is excited to announce Kim Seok-jin as its global brand ambassador. “His warm and kind personality is truly magnetic, and his style is simply unique. He is a generous and extraordinary artist who is able to move people with his music, which makes us even more honored to share this journey with him.”

Seok-jin commended Gucci as an iconic brand with a long-standing heritage and modernity. “ It is meaningful and thrilling to be part of such a house.”
This is not the first time that the fashion giant has partnered with Korean artists. In November 2023, Gucci declared rapper Jay Park as its global brand ambassador. At the time, Park said Gucci is a globally renowned fashion brand with more than 100 years of history. He lauded the Italian brand for continuously evolving in its own innovative and unique way.
Gucci has also worked with Squid Games star Lee Jung Jae as its ambassador.
