Coco Palms Resort in Hawaii Rebrands as Kimpton Hotel for IHG Hotels & Resorts Luxury and Lifestyle Portfolio

Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants has partnered with Kauai’s landmark Coco Palms Resort for IHG Hotels & Resorts’ fast growing luxury and lifestyle portfolio. Coco Palms Resort, which has been a premier destination for Hollywood celebrities (like Elvis Presley, and Rita Hayworth) in Hawaii, is now a Kimpton Resort.

It will evolve as a tropical retreat for travelers and the Kaua’i community to explore the various experiences the destination has in offer. According to Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, the restored resort will comprise of 350 thoughtfully designed rooms spread across three low-rise hotel structures and cottages.

Kimpton Hotels & Resorts said Coco Palms will represent the west coast resort flagship for the group in the Americas, joining the brand’s growing resort offering globally. Coco Palms will feature an onsite cultural center and museum honoring Kaua’i. It will serve to educate visitors and residents of the area’s native culture, rich history, and flourishing artistic community.
