Twang, renowned for salts and seasonings, has introduced a new branding and packaging, as well as new products Chile Lime Beer Salt, Tangy Tamarind Snack Salt and Classic Chamoy Snack Salt. Earlier, the products had their own branding and were referred to as Beer Salt, Twangerz, Twang-A-Rita, and Reserve Michelada Mixes. Now all products will be under the Twang banner. Twang’s packaging now boasts the brand’s Latino heritage.
Elysia Trevino-Gonzales, Twang CEO, said the brand refresh has been a labor of love. “We are excited to bring everything together in a cohesive, but fun way that really highlights who we are as a company. You’ll notice our Snack Salt shakers now feature colorful papel picado designs, a nod to the traditional Mexican craft of decorative paper cutting. Our Drink Rimmers have moved from bags to tubs, each with unique icons that capture the essence of the flavors inside.”
The Beer Salts showcase full scenes on each bottle, and Michelada Mixers sport bold, clear packaging. Trevino-Gonzales described the rebranding as a shift from a ‘House of Brands’ to a ‘Branded House’. As such:
Beer Salt is Twang Beer Salt
Twangerz is Twang Snack Salts
Twang-A-Rita is Twang Drink Rimmers
Reserve Michelada Mixes is Twang Michelada Mixer
Consumers can take advantage of the new Twang products and new look at Walmart and HEB.
