PepsiCo has adopted new paper outer bags for Snack A Jacks multipacks to cut down on virgin plastic. The new packaging will be available for Snack A Jacks – Salt & Vinegar, Sour Cream & Chive, and BBQ flavors.
Consumers can recycle the outer paper bags in home recycling bins, with other paper packaging, which would be collected at kerbside. Gareth Catlan, PepsiCo UK packaging sustainability lead, said their outer paper multi-bag packs are working well on Walkers Baked. “The new packaging will help further reduce our non-fossil plastic use, while also helping to lower our carbon footprint as we work towards our commitment to creating a world where packaging never becomes waste.”\
Hannah Freeman, marketing manager for Snack A Jacks, said the new outer packs are easily recycled with the usual household paper recycling. It can be disposed of thoughtfully with little fuss. “We hope our devoted fans of Snack A Jacks will enjoy this small but important change we’ve made to make their snacking experience even more enjoyable at home.”
