Unilever reigned the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity as the ‘2024 Creative Marketers of the Year’. The British FMCG company has amassed hundreds of Lions over the years, across a number of brands, such as DOVE, Magnum, Hellmann’s, Marmite, and Pot Noodle.
Last year, Dove claimed the Media Lions Grand Prix for its #TurnYourBack campaign by Ogilvy London/DAVID, Madrid. This campaign was described by the jury, headed by Christian Juhl, as a timely example of how the industry can use the power of media to protect young people and empower them to reject the pressure they feel to conform to artificial standards and be confident in their true, unfiltered selves.
In regards to its latest achievement –2024 Creative Marketers of the Year – Esi Eggleston Bracey, Chief Growth and Marketing Officer at Unilever, expressed gratitude to the brand leaders and agency partners for always pushing creative boundaries. He said their commitment to bold, brave, and more creative marketing is unwavering.
