Good News Goldbears: HARIBO Celebrates National Gummi Bear Day

America’s No.1 gummi brand HARIBO took to “Good News Goldbears”, a first-of-its-kind social media video broadcast, to celebrate National Gummi Bear Day. The inventor of the gummi bear infused more childlike happiness into its followers’ days.

HARIBO dedicated its Facebook and Instagram channels to only good news videos, compiled from fan-generated content, influencer collaborations, and brand-produced news skits. Seth Klugherz, VP of Marketing HARIBO of America Inc, acknowledged that childlike happiness is at the heart of everything they do at HARIBO, and National Gummi Bear Day is the perfect time to celebrate that with our consumers.

This year we want to inspire childlike happiness by encouraging people to share the good news that’s making them smile. We’ve all been inundated with bad news from around the world on our social feeds, so now it’s time to highlight the good and share the happy!”

To celebrate National Gummi Day, which was on April 27, HARIBO’s famous Goldbears joined anchors and on-the-ground reporters to share the good news all day long. Fans called the 24-hour hotline leading up to National Gummi Bear Day to leave a message of any good news and for it to be added to the video broadcast in real-time.

Moreover, HARIBO also launched a brand new Goldbears pack mix. Over the years, fans have expressed their passion for HARIBO Goldbears’ flavors and colors, making innovation a key growth factor for the brand. The brand’s green Goldbear is not lime or apple-flavored, but strawberry.
