Samsung Celebrates Paris Olympics With New Art Campaign ‘Olympic Games Instants Shared #withGalaxy’

Samsung Electronics has embarked on a new art campaign ‘Olympic Games Instants Shared #withGalaxy’ created by legendary French photographer Raymond Depardon and his son, director, and photographer Simon Depardon. The campaign captures Paris imagery giving a new perspective to the power of sport.

It pays homage to Raymond’s renowned work and represents a passing of the torch – his iconic black and white archival imagery is exhibited alongside new imagery from Simon, who focused his work on the newest Olympic Games and Paralympic Games disciplines.

Simon shared his thrill for the project. He said this is the first time that his photos are being displayed alongside his father’s. “The artwork not only features four incredible French athletes playing their sports, but also I wanted to show each athlete’s human character by taking portraits of them simultaneously,” Simon explained. “The performance capabilities of the Galaxy S24 are outstanding and opened up so many opportunities for us to create something that fits in artistically with the city.”
