Tropicana, the world’s leading orange juice brand, is celebrating natural ingredients via a new limited-edition packaging that doesn’t feature the letters “AI”. Tropicana says there is nothing artificial, and never has been anything artificial. America’s favorite OJ2 has been made from natural oranges, picked at the pinnacle of ripeness, and squeezed within 24 hours to create 100 percent juice for more than 75 years.
The company highlighted that there seems to be a new development in artificial intelligence each week. “Each new AI advancement brings us closer to the artificial world and further from the natural. Consumer intrigue, and even concern, is high. Searches for “What is AI?” increased by 643 percent from 2022 to 2023.
As such, Tropicana is highlighting its juices containing natural ingredients. Monica McGurk, CEO of Tropicana Brands Group’s North American business unit, said their limited-edition run of ‘Tropcn’ orange juice bottles represents their ongoing commitment to delivering the highest quality 100 percent orange juice to Americans. “Since 1954, Tropicana has been at the forefront, innovating ways to bring fresh-tasting orange juice from natural oranges to breakfast tables nationwide. Artificial just isn’t in our DNA.”
The limited-edition package of “Tropcn” Pure Premium orange juice was released at CES 2024 – the biggest consumer electronics event in Las Vegas. The brand hid 100 bottles at Kroger-owned stores across the United States. Those who spot one of these bottles have the chance of winning a trip to the “original orange juice state” – Florida.
