Takeout food from McDonald’s has gotten more convenient and sustainable than ever before with its new “TableBag”, a takeout box that converts into a temporary cardboard table. It is 100% recyclable and makes it possible for people to eat anywhere they please.
The fast-food giant rolled out its eye-catching TableBag in 2022 with Leo Burnett to make eating outdoors more appealing to the 400,000 attendees of the Milan Fashion Week in Italy. The takeout box offers an alternative to indoor spaces with tables and chairs.
The TableBag, more like a tote bag than typical food takeaway bags, was designed to be shared between two people. It can unfold into tables once fixed to a post. The table had space for two burgers, two orders of fries, and also a pair of cup holders. Moreover, it highlights innovation and creativity.
