Social Cycling: END. & Adidas to Launch Velosamba Sneakers

END. and Adidas have drawn inspiration from modern cycling clubs for their latest collaboration, yet to be launched, Velosamba sneaker pack. Dubbed “Social Cycling”, it combines low-key style cues from the world of cycling with classic terrace footwear aesthetics.

The Velosamba sneakers are centred around coffee and beer, two classic pit stops for any seasoned cyclist. Both make-ups for the Velosamba are constructed with suede from the Charles F Stead tannery in Leeds for an elevated outlook. It’s refined for transitioning between time on the bike and casual wear. Each model is detailed with reflective strips to the heel counter and a two-bolt cleat mount embedded within a reinforced midsole for a combination of the functionality on the bike and exceptional incognito cycling style.

END., in an official statement, highlights that the first pair blends neutral tones to reflect the rich flavors and colors of a perfectly brewed cup of coffee. The second pair looks to the aesthetics of a bottle of beer for inspiration. It combines hits of bottle green, vibrant red and tonal white hues to reflect a cold and crisp beer. With bespoke END. branding to the insole and a hidden embroidered cycling motif to the underside of the tongue, the END. x adidas Velosamba ‘Social Cycling’ pack offers the perfect accompaniment for a casual bike ride with friends, whether one is stopping off for a mid-way coffee or a well-deserved victory pint.

It should be noted that the Velosamba branding rests above the Three-Stripes, while adidas and END. logos add a smooth finish to the collaborative effort. The sneakers will be officially released, exclusively, at END.’s website on April 29.
