Transits are no longer boring at Singapore Changi Airport thanks to Hasbro Gaming. The Terminal 3 (T3) departure hall has been transformed into a hall of games. Passengers can make the most of physical and digital versions of popular games like Hungry Hungry Hippos, Connect 4, Twister, and The Game of Life, among others.
Phau Hui Hoon, General Manager for Landside Concessions at Changi Airport Group, expressed the thrill to be partnering with Hasbro Gaming to bring the wonder of board games into Changi Airport. “Just as the airport is a place for friends, family, and people the world over to connect, board games bring everyone together and are precious opportunities to create fun and memorable experiences. We hope this June holiday event will not only rekindle the magic of games for those who grew up with them but also introduce those who might be new to this world of fun.”
The games can be accessed with a free Gamer Pass that can be redeemed with a minimum spend of USD37 or USD59 for supermarkets, in a single receipt in the public areas of Terminals 1 to 4. The passes can also be purchased on the Changi App for USD 3.70 each.
There’s Mr Monopoly to take selfies with and The Game of Life where gamers can buckle into giant versions of the car game pieces and race to collect as many points on screen as possible while avoiding obstacles. Plus, there’s much more.
Launched on May 26, Hasbro Gaming will be on till July 16.
