Dwayne Johnson, the co-founder of energy drink company Zoa Energy, has introduced a name, image, and likeness (NIL) program featuring seven college students. “The Rock Warriors” will help lead Zoa’s marketing program by creating content for social media.
The college students exemplify optimism, enthusiasm, and a commitment to striving for something bigger. Through this partnership, Zoa wants to create a robust collegiate presence to help the brand expand its presence across sports.
The NIL program comes after a recent brand refresh that had Zoa adopt a brighter color palette, and reduction in can size from 16 ounces to 12 ounces. As part of the “Fuel Something Bigger” campaign, Zoa released an advertisement to inspire consumers to reach their full potential, to grow, set new goals and start a movement beyond themselves.
Johnson said the company is passionate about what they are building with Zoa, and fueling something bigger with their enhanced product and bold new design. “We are building a passionate and motivated Zoa community, and we’re inspired to help people reach their full potential, with Zoa energy being one of the catalysts for them to do so.”
Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson described NIL as a first-of-its kind expansion program. “Zoa Energy will bring together some of the greatest college athletes of our time. I know from experience the grit and hard work that’s required of these college athletes to get the job done. Not just during their championship games or in the classrooms, but every day in the game of life.”
Johnson believes Zoa gives people that people – that unique energy to fuel themselves and fuel others around them.
