PepsiCo has unveiled its latest 7UP flavor with a zesty citrus taste along with a refreshed visual identity. Featuring a bold and playful design with a 3D drop shadow, the new design adds depth and dimension. Against its signature green on the main body of the can, citrus colors accentuate the shadow space. For the 7UP Zero Sugar range, the lime green main body is reversed from the dark green drop shadow, with the lime green dropping from the top.
This refreshing revamp of the classic 7UP brand comes with a “comedy-centric” tone of voice, aiming to tap into the playful and irreverent spirit of the younger generation. The visual refresh departs from the original green and white color scheme with a retro font, providing a more modern and dynamic look.
Through this modernized branding strategy, PepsiCo is looking to remain relevant and engaging for a new generation of consumers. The new designs will be available worldwide beginning in March 2023. The ads will appear on 7UP and 7UP Zero Sugar bottles and cans, as well as a digital and outdoor campaign.
