7-Eleven has jumped into the bandwagon of brands plunging into the world of digital collectibles. It has launched free Slurpee NFTs on the Polygon Network just in time for “Slurpee Day”.
Marissa Jarratt, 7-Eleven Executive Vice President, and Chief Marketing & Sustainability Officer, said they are always looking for new and creative ways to celebrate with their customers on the brand’s favorite day of the year. Customers can claim a Slurpee Vibe as per their choice by first picking the flavors for their virtual Slurpee. The Slurpee Vibe digital collectible will be saved in their digital wallet.
The brand has introduced a limited-time 7/11 Birthday Collection capsule on 7Collection, its online merchandise shop. It features a variety of custom merch perfect for those who share the same birthday as the world’s largest convenience retailer, or for those who just love Slurpee drinks. The Collection includes 7-Eleven-inspired party décor and trimmings including apparel, balloons, wrapping paper, and more.
The digital collectible will only be available via mobile devices. Jarratt said the sugar collectible game features a virtual 7-Eleven Slurpee cup and four flavors – Cherry, Blue Raspberry, Pina Colada, and Summertime Citrus.
