Adobe Launches ‘Adobe Content Authenticity’ Web App to Protect Content

Adobe has introduced ‘Adobe Content Authenticity’, a new free web app that helps creators protect and receive attribution for their work with Content Credentials.

The software company has championed the adoption of Content Credentials as the industry standard for transparency in digital content since the establishment of the Content Authenticity Initiative in 2019. It’s like a nutrition label for digital content and serves as secure metadata that anyone can attach to their work.

Content Credentials is a valuable tool for publishers amid rising concerns about misinformation and AI-generated deepfakes. It allows publishers to provide key information about digital content to help consumers assess its trustworthiness. As such, Adobe is unlocking the full potential of Content Credentials with the web app.

Adobe has empowered creators with the Adobe Content Authenticity, a free web app, to protect and validate their work and protect it from lifters.

Scott Belsky, Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President, Design & Emerging Products at Adobe, said they are committed to responsible innovation centered on the needs and interests of creators. “Adobe Content Authenticity is a powerful new web application that helps creators protect and get recognition for their work,” he explained. “By offering creators a simple, free and easy way to attach Content Credentials to what they create, we are helping them preserve the integrity of their work while enabling a new era of transparency and trust online.

The web app will be available free to the public in Q1 2025.
