Canva Celebrates Workplace Creativity with ‘Design Against Dull’ its First UK Brand Campaign

Canva has embarked on a campaign ‘Design Against Dull’ to shake up workplaces in the UK and highlight how creativity can be the remedy for uninspiring work habits.

The platform is pushing forth its idea about visual communication being the key to solving the UK’s productivity puzzle. It offers a fresh perspective on what’s possible when teams take up creative tools. With ‘Design Against Dull’, Canva is helping organizations unlock creativity at any point in their workflow – whether it’s creating engaging presentations, collaborative sales decks, or visually striking newsletters.

Amanda Zafiris, Head of Marketing for Europe at Canva, said it’s their first UK campaign. “We wanted to create something that feels uniquely British while demonstrating how Canva helps teams design faster, easier, and more joyfully. We’re also proud that many of the campaign’s assets were created by our own team using Canva.”

Canva strives to bring work to life. Its latest campaign spotlights the Magic Studio AI-powered tools and ready-made templates that make it easier to create high-impact materials. Design Against Dull is a visual representation of how the platform can help, regardless of the individual’s design experience, turn ideas into reality and bring sparkle and energy back to their work.

The graphic design platform stated that only 10 percent of UK employees feel engaged at work. “We’re highlighting how visual communication can be a game-changer for productivity. The campaign’s hero advertisement paints a mundane picture of modern office life, with grey walls, lifeless screens, and uninspired work.” The platform believes that it can give a creativity takeover to workplaces.
