Lush Set to Release Limited-Edition Range of Super Mario-Inspired Products

Handmade bath, skin care and body care brand Lush has teamed up with Nintendo and Illumination to bring an exclusive line of cosmetics and bath bombs for the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie.

The limited-edition range consists of Super Mario-inspired smellies, including soaps, bath bombs and shower gels. There is also a Princess Peach body spray – a fruity burst of peach and pineapple; a Mario cola-scented shower gel; and a fresh, crisp, apple-scented Luigi shower gel. Wait, there’s more! A gold coin-shaped soap, a question block 2-in-1 bath bomb, plus two shower jellies, a juicy jiggly, wiggly one for Princess Peach, and a warm and spicy version called Bowser.

It’s interesting – the question block bath bomb, when dissolved releases one of six mystery power-ups, fire flower, ice flower, star, coin, black mushroom, or red mushroom. Moreover, these fun bath bombs are eco-friendly glitter and free from plastic.

Melody Morton, from the Lush collaborations team, says they have had a long working relationship with Universal movie studio. “The main reason we love Super Mario is because it’s so cross-generational. The bathing products will be exclusively available on Lush’s stores across Japan, its website and official app. The Super Mario Bros. Movie will hit cinemas on April 5.
