JLL Lights Up Mumbai's Sea Link in a Bigger Bet on India

The JLL India brand push began when the real estate services firm projected its identity onto Mumbai’s Bandra-Worli Sea Link for ten days from 9 October 2026, which it calls its first major brand initiative in India, according to JLL’s own newsroom. The activation follows earlier brand campaigns in New York and London under JLL’s global Accelerate 2030 strategy.
Why Mumbai, why now
JLL frames the timing as deliberate. The firm says India now serves as a core base for multinational companies, many of which hold their second largest real estate portfolios and workforces there, no longer treating the market as back office support. JLL has operated in India for roughly two decades, with more than 18,000 professionals across ten major cities and a presence in over 130 tier two and tier three markets.
“Real estate decisions have become pivotal to corporate growth,” said Radha Dhir, JLL’s CEO for India, tying the campaign to India’s role in the next decade of global business expansion. “The Sea Link represents connection, progress, and infrastructure at scale,” said Siddharth Taparia, JLL’s global CMO, describing the campaign as built on clarity through intelligence, certainty through execution, and confidence through trust.
A light show on a bridge is JLL’s way of saying India stopped being a delivery hub.
What to Watch
Watch whether JLL extends the Sea Link treatment to other Indian cities, and whether rival real estate and consulting brands follow with their own India specific brand investment rather than global campaigns run at arm’s length.
