Own the quality and freshness of BTC’s Jobs, Events, Agencies and Awards directories.
What the role involves
Manage the BTC Directories Database in Google Sheets: tabs for Jobs, Events, Agencies, Awards, Proposed items and the run log.
Review proposed and submitted listings, verify them against official sources, and approve or reject them. Nothing goes live without a human check.
Apply BTC’s listing standards (editorial focus and category relevance) consistently, and record the reason for every rejection.
Keep Jobs, Events and Agencies current: mark roles filled or expired, confirm event dates from official pages, and fix broken links.
Reply to employers, organisers and agencies who submit listings, ask for corrections or request removal, within a clear service time.
Reach out to agencies and organisers to improve their profiles and contact details.
Support the sales and partnerships work by tracking Sponsored and Featured placements correctly and without conflicts.
Review the automated digest, check live pages for wrong fields, stale items or layout problems, and report issues to the web developer with clear steps to reproduce.
Write and maintain SOPs so a new teammate can follow the process.
Produce a monthly listings and quality report.
