Hallmark Refreshes Streaming Service Brand Hallmark Movies Now to ‘Hallmark+’

Hallmark is set to launch Hallmark+, a new comprehensive streaming service that integrates ad-free viewing with exclusive retail and product benefits, in mid-September. Hallmark Movies Now has been transformed into Hallmark+.

This underscores Hallmark’s mission to help fans live their most caring, connected lives with access to all-new kinds of original, heartwarming content, and new membership benefits. Members can take advantage of rewards for streaming and shopping at Hallmark Gold Crown Stores as well as via its online portal Hallmark.com.

Mike Perry, President & CEO of Hallmark, said Hallmark+ marks a seminal moment for the company. “By intertwining new, rich content experiences with tangible rewards and premium Hallmark gifts, we are delivering a unique, new program that reflects our commitment to spreading joy through our deeply beloved brand touchpoints.”

Perry said with streaming platforms disrupting linear cable, Hallmark sees it as an opportunity to expand its storytelling. Hallmark wants to align its brand touch points. Darren Abbott, Hallmark’s chief brand officer, said Hallmark+ can be seen as a lifestyle bundle. “Those benefits are designed to create more moments for them to do that aspirational  goodness, buy warm greeting cards, connect more with the folks around.”

Hallmark+ will captivate subscribers with fresh and engaging content like Mistletoe Murder, Finding Mr Christmas, Ready Set Glow!, and Small Town Setup, among others. Moreover, Hallmark+ members can enjoy exclusive benefits and rewards, including monthly $5 Hallmark Gold Crown Store coupons, free unlimited eCards, and surprise gifts.
