McDonald’s is once again sending customers and enthusiasts down memory lane with its latest new limited-time ‘Collectors Meal’. People have the chance to bag six collectible cups, each decorated with nostalgic references to the fast-food chain’s history.
The plastic cups feature characters like Beanie Babies, Hot Wheels, Barbie, Peanuts, Hello Kitty, and Coca-Cola polar bears, among others. McDonald’s has also featured its lovely mascots with the Minions, Shrek, and Jurassic Park on some cups.
In an Instagram post, the fast-food chain giant said fans will really jump over the moon. “In 20 years you are gonna be happy you collected all six limited edition cups. Collector’s Meal 8.13.”
Morgan Flatley, McDonald’s Global CMO, said there’s an undeniable thrill when one snags that one elusive McDonald’s collectible or the final piece to complete the collection. “These new collectible cups commemorate some of our most unforgettable designs and global collaborations over the years, allowing longtime fans to relive treasured moments and helping a new generation make their own lasting memories.”
