Kamala Harris is a ‘Brat’ For US Presidential Election 2024

Kamala Harris’ team is working round the clock to brand the vice president as a Democrat nominee for the upcoming presidential election in the United States. And she is being powered up by ‘brat’ Charli XCX fans.

This comes after the pop singer herself declared on microblogging platform X (formerly Twitter) that ‘Kamala IS brat’. Charlotte Emma Aitchison, popularly called Charli XCX, latest album Brat has hit the charts. She endorsed Kamala Harris with her viral comment on X.

The VP’s twitter account also caught the drift and is positioned with a Brat-style banner. An Instagram account kamalahq is dedicated to Harris with a lime green Brat background. Moreover, hashtags like #Bratsummer have been tagged in over 40,000 videos on TikTok and 12,000 posts on Instagram.

Antjuan Seawright, a Democratic strategist, said young voters will make the campaign alive and well. She added that they are seeing energy, interest and participation that has never been seen before. A report highlighted Harris’ appeal – her relative youth and historic status as the first main party Black and Asian-American female presidential candidate. She has successfully tapped into Gen Z’s irreverent and obscure brand of online humor.

Voters of Tomorrow, a GenZ political advocacy group, said there have been more chapter sign-ups since the vice president kicked off her presidential campaign than in the previous two months.
