Sharpie is celebrating the World Creativity and Innovation Day with the Sharpie Bus, which is headed across the United States to encourage and empower people to use their creativity. The bus will embark on a cross-country tour, stop at festivals and events to help people embrace their creative side.
Gina Lazaro, vice president, brand management, writing at Newell Brands, said Sharpie champions creativity in all forms. “To commemorate 60 years of creative evolution, we want to help everyone embrace their self-expression by bringing our latest innovation to some of the country’s largest celebrations of creativity. The Sharpie Bus is headed to these creative destinations to help people uncap creativity and learn how they can turn almost anything into their own personal canvas.”
Lazaro pointed out that the bus is brimming with everything people need to unleash their creativity. People can test out the new Sharpie Creative Markers on a variety of surfaces, including black and white paper, wood, metal, acrylic and tile, to experience first-hand how the brand-new markers make a bold statement on almost any surface.
And to commemorate the brand’s 60th anniversary, the bus will also showcase the brand’s iconic products from the past 60 years to pay homeage to how the brand has continued to bring innovation to the writing category since its inception. The Sharpie Bus will go on “The World is Your Canvas” tour up to the World Creativity and Innovation Day at Main Street Arts Festival in Forth Worth, Texas.
