YouTube has a new app “YouTube Create” for creators and AI-powered features to ease content creation. The platform has launched a new editing app for mobile creators in an effort to streamline the production process of its Shorts and long-form videos.
It includes editing, trimming, and automatic captioning features, voiceover editing capabilities, and a library of filters, effects, transitions, and royalty-free music. YouTube said the brand-new app empowers mobile creators with tools to take their videos to the next level.
“With YouTube Create, you can easily make high-quality videos with editing tools, effects, filters, and transitions all in an intuitive, easy-to-use interface without the need for complicated editing tools or desktop software.”
Here are some features creators can use:
Audio Cleanup – remove unwanted background noises with the tap of a button so that the voice shines.
Auto-captions – automatically add captions to the videos in English, Hindi, and Spanish…more languages will be added
Filters/Effects/Transitions – easily add filters, effects, and transitions to make the videos pop.
Royalty-free music – get access to thousands of royalty-free songs and sound effects, all within YouTube Create. These music tracks and sound effects are copyright-safe and can be freely used in videos.
Publish directly to YouTube – seamlessly create videos on YouTube
YouTube also boasts next-level video editing features wherein users can remove their video’s background with the cut-out effect. There’s the “Dream Screen” feature for users to create generative AI video and image backgrounds for Shorts. And it has AI Insights to help spark the user’s next idea. It outlines suggestions based on what the user’s audience is already watching on YouTube.
